"Kaya gini cocok gak, Mbak Atid?" katanya sambil menggenjreng nada-nada spontan yang membuat lampu-lampu Jakarta di Selamat Pagi Malam semakin romantis.
Gue hanya mengangguk bahagia. Gak mau mengeluarkan small talks yang seharusnya membuat suasana lebih cair. I just let him get into his own little world.
Di suatu pojok Karawaci, Ipong little world dibangun. Coffee shop di lantai 1. Studio di lantai 2. Rumah di lantai 3. Spesies langka for a 24 year old kid yang tumbuh di Jakarta, dikelilingi segala instrumen yang mendidik pemuda pemudinya menuju manusia berhaluan inferior complex dan konsumerisme.
"Gue udah start ini sejak tingkat 2 soalnya mbak," katanya sambil menceritakan kisahnya yang 18 tahun udah punya anak. Untung istrinya 8 tahun lebih tua.

Gue gak inget kapan terakhir gue kerja se-passionate Ipong. Terlalu banyak pertimbangan survival di tengah masyarakat berstatus A B tapi bermental C D Indonesia Raya. Dikelilingi Central Park di Jakarta, Merlion di Surabaya, Menara Eiffel di Manado...
How could we be more in touch with ourselves in a country who wish to be more like something else ?
"You have the look, but not the soul," kata seniman Singapur turunan Indonesia mengomentari sofa keras di kamar gue. Look-nya nyaman tapi esensi sofa-nya hilang. Just like everything else here.
Just like me.
Was like me. Hari ini gue soulful ah.
