MY OWN FILM SCHOOL

Cin(T)a is finished. I have one movie in hand, no money, and still a lot of things to learn for my next movie. Film school is no option. It will cost me SGD 55.000 a year just for tuition. Bisa aja sih kalo bokap gue jendral tajir atau something Riyadi. Too bad I am not, so the only way is : I need to make my own film school.

I make my own curriculum. And I chose my own list of teachers.

Film cin(T)a gue kirimin ke para pencipta favorit gue. Yasmin Ahmad,Joko Anwar, Garin Nugroho, John De Rantau, Nia Dinata, dan Enison Sinaro in the directing sections. Ayu Utami and Dewi Lestari in the writing sections. Jalaludin Rahmat, Romo Muji, and Bambang Sugiharto in the spiritual sections.

Thanks to XL gratis SMS setiap hari setelah ngirim 8 SMS, gue jadi bisa setiap hari men’teror’ orang-orang sibuk ini sampai akhirnya luluh mau menonton film gue. Garin Nugroho, Nia Dinata, dan Yasmin Ahmad belum berhasil gue ‘teror’. Tapi selama Mentari masih terbit di timur, dan selama XL masih gratis SMS, teror gue belum akan selesai hihihi=P

Thanks to mereka yang bersedia gue ‘teror’. Now I have a better understanding of what I want to do next. Can't wait for it.
